If you notice many of the shopping complex doors you always have to pull to open when you enter in and push outward to come out of it. Can anybody guess why?

Answer goes as follows:
In US during a major fire incident, people were trying to rush out of the building and it had a door to pull open from inside.
Due to chaos the door exits were jammed with crowd. What happens if they have to pull inwards to open?
This is the reason why it is always pull push outward to come out from any malls
