There was a barbeque arranged in the family of 4. But they had purchased only 3 potatoes for eating. How do they split equal shares to everybody?

mash the potatoes? then give the four of them an equal share.
I'm bad at this brain stuff. I think since having kids I have no more brain cells, but I'll think about it and come back to see what the answer is.

Somebody Anonymously said it right. See the first comment for the answer. Illa, Thanks for your suggestion. I have created lables for all the puzzles since I moved to newer version of Blogger. I will just have to change the template with new layout. Then there will be an additional Section called Lables. Time being please click on the label called Puzzles to get all the puzzles.
Yeah....aft a long time, I was able to solve one of ur puzzle... bt my bad...someone had already posted the answer...
even if you mash the potatoes, you're still giving them a fraction. my answer was not very good, but it was to give no one any potatoes. that way everyone gets an equal portion, but no one gets a fraction
That's unique thinking pal...But the condition is to give something to each...Mashed potatoes is like making the shape of equally sized shares. But may be you are right, it still leads to fraction to some extent but not fully...
