Vegetarian BBQ

Have you ever tried a Vegetarian BBQ Item? No right? If you are looking for a Recipe something for vegetarian follow the steps given below... Its always interesting to try out something new,

Veg Skewers


Ingredients :
2 onions peeled and quartered
2 tomatoes, hollowed and quartered
2 capsicums, deseeded and quartered
2 carrots boiled, sliced into 1" chunks
2 potatoes boiled, peeled and quartered
10-12 large cauliflower florettes
10-12 large cubes firm paneer
1 1/2 cups curd marinate (refer)
Chat masala, sauce, ketchup to serve

Method :

Home Work: Boil cauliflower lightly, drain and pat dry.
Marinate all vegetables, one by one for 15-20 minutes.
Except for cauliflower and tomato, (only 5-7 minutes each)
In the end, use remaining marinate to coat the paneer cubes.
Transfer each vegetable to the refrigerator, after marinating.

BBQ Work: Heat barbeque well in advance, to get the coals burning well when required.
To cook, poke each vegetable and paneer in a skewer in turns.
Start with tomato and end with paneer and cauliflower.
Keep hard veggies like potato, onion, carrot in centre.
Place on the barbeque and turn while roasting.
When the marinate dries and veggies sizzle, they are done.
Sprinkle chat masala and serve hot.

Vegetarian BBQ Meat On Skewers


Ingredients
Veg (soya) Slice Meat 150g
Asparagus (sectioned) 100g
(1) Salt 1 tsp(tablespoon)
Corn Starch 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Minced ginger 1 tsp
Preserved Taro 2 tsp

Method
1 Soak veg sliced meat in water until soften
Drain and squeeze excess water from the veg sliced meat.
Marinate with ingredients (1) for ½ ~ 2 hours .
2 2 Deep-fry marinated veg sliced meat till fragrant.
3 Roll the deep-fried sliced meat with asparagus, thread them with skewer, place on dish. Roll the rest of the veg sliced meat, to serve.
