As: As explained wisely in the comment Section by Liz, put the first letter in the last and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word.

Every word has atleast 2 occurences of the same letter?

Banana --> 2n's / 2a's
Dresser --> 2r's / 2s's / 2e's
Grammar --> 2m's / 2a's / 2r's
Potato --> 2o's / 2t's
Revive --> 2e's / 2v's
Uneven --> 2n's / 2e's
Voodoo --> 2o's / 2o's
Mama --> 2m's / 2a's

Oh wait... I see it now; if you take the first letter of each word and put it on the end, the word reads backwards. ;)
